Dr Lizzie BradfordLizzie Bradford is the principle investigator of the Interacting Minds Lab, and a Lecturer in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience at the University of St Andrews (from September 2024).
Lizzie completed her undergraduate Psychology degree (BSc (Hons) Psychology) at the University of Kent, Canterbury, U.K., before completing an MSc in Evolutionary Psychology at the University of St Andrews, Scotland, U.K. Lizzie then continued her postgraduate studies at the University of St Andrews, completing a PhD in Cognitive Psychology. Lizzie spent four years working as a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at the University of Kent, on a project exploring the cognitive basis of social communication across the lifespan (CogSoCoAGE Project), followed by a few years as an Assistant Professor (Lecturer) in Psychology at the University of Dundee. Lizzie has also been a visiting researcher at Peking University, Beijing, China. |
James RobertsJames is an undergraduate student at the University of St Andrews. He is currently working as a Research Assistant on a StARIS (St Andrews Research Internship Scheme) project, working with children to understanding how stories are processed in different contexts.
Astrid RaeburnAstrid is a third year undergraduate student at the University of Dundee who has been awarded a Carnegie Undergraduate Vacation Scholarship (2024) to complete a qualitative study examining Experiences of Adults Seeking an Autism Diagnosis in Scotland (co-supervised with Prof. Nick Hopkins).

Sofía VilloriaSofía is completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Dundee. During her studies, she was awarded a New Graduate Research Bursary from the Experimental Psychology Society (EPS; 2024), examining Mentalizing Across Age Groups: The Impact of Target Age on Successful Mental State Attribution. She is currently working as a Research Assistant within the lab.
